Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class. We currently have a men's group and two women's groups.

Community Bible Study Evening
at Bethel Lutheran, 425 Crestview, Boardman 44512
This evening group has changed many lives and allows safe space for individuals to come as they are, enjoy a nice cup of coffee and relax with friends to study Gods word.
This year study will be divided into four books!
James
Course Description The epistle James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This course’s lessons encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore the practical application of faith in family and society
1 and 2 Peter
In these two letters, the apostle Peter offered encouragement to followers of Christ who were living as exiles and being persecuted for their faith. These books exhort believers to hope and godly living. They teach about godly relationships and warn about false teachers. They point to Jesus as our example in suffering and faith, and remind us that true security can be found only in God.
Colossians
Colossians is a letter written to combat error in the church. Paul pointed the believers at Colossae to Jesus as the Head of His body, the church. Paul also told the Colossian believers that they had fullness in Christ. The questions in this course are thought provoking and challenging
Joshua
The book of Joshua picks up where Deuteronomy leaves off. After leading the Israelites out of Egypt and through 40 years of wanderings in the wilderness, Moses died. But God remained faithful to His promise. He appointed Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, where they would at last find rest in a place of their own.
